Dr. Taghreed Justinia

Ph.D in Health Informatics and M.Sc in Healthcare Management from Swansea University, UK where Justinia was also Honorary Fellow. Studied Computer Science in the US as an undergraduate and has maintained a career in the IT field with over 20 years of experience. Current role is Founding Regional Director IT Services, Technology & Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (M-NGHA) in Saudi Arabia.

Work background and experience are more specifically in the IT Executive Leadership and Health Informatics fields. Lead several IT transformation projects throughout my career. Most recently, she led the commissioning of the IT infrastructure, Data Center and Systems for an entirely new Smart University Campus.

She holds a special interest in IT Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Health Informatics; Change Management; and the socio-technical aspects of technological change. This is in addition to her academic role in undergraduate and postgraduate programs supervising and teaching Health Informatics, Leadership/Management and Research courses.

She has several international affiliations/memberships and numerous publications (including a book). She regularly reviews for high impact scientific journals like the International Journal of MI and I'm an International Advisory Board Member with the International Journal of E-Health and Medical Communications.
