Joseph Mousel

Joseph Mousel is currently working as a Policy Officer – SpaceResources.lu for the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), where he is, among others, Luxembourg’s attaché in the EU Council’s Working Party on Space, as well as a delegate to the European Space Agency. His career prior to joining the LSA in 2018 consists of 10 years working mainly as a simulation engineer in the steel production and automotive sectors. After developing blast furnace equipment for three and a half years at Paul Wurth in Luxembourg, He moved to Munich, Germany, to work on several projects for BMW and BMW Motorrad, including a two and a half year secondment to the chassis development department of the latter. He has a Masters degree in mechanics (“Maîtrise de Mécanique”) from the University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France and an MBA in Engineering Management from the Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule in Darmstadt, Germany.
