Jasper Loon

In 2009 Jasper Loon made a switch from a scientific career in the field of Earth Observation to the Netherlands Space Office. his main task is to translate the needs of (potential) users of satellite data within The Netherlands towards ESA and EU and keep these users informed about the new possibilities in the field of Earth Observation. To do this, he needs to communicate with policy officers, entrepeneurs, scientists, engineers and many others. Apart from his professional career, he has spent a lot of time as volunteer in several boards of societal organisations, e.g. scouting, volleyball, NGO, a political organisation, etc.
