Harm De Wetering
Harm van de Wetering is an experienced and result-focussed manager who is used to operating in a network of sector organisations as well as national and international government bodies and organisations. He has a practical skills and experience in converting policy-based and public demands into concrete practical developments and improvements. Van de Wetering (1970) graduated in management science (1995) after he graduated three years earlier in Automotive Ingineering. He started his career in several project-management functions within the former Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, on policy asswel as executive programms. He played a big role in the foundation of the Netherlands Emissions Authority (NEA). From 2008 till 2018 he has worked at this Govermental Agency as deputy director and Domain Manager. Since June 2018 Harm van de Wetering started at the position of Director of the Netherlands Space Office, where his ambition is to further develop the economic, scientific and societal benefits of Spacecraft.
