Luke Smallman's research interests are: - Development and use of coupled atmosphere-ecosystem models. - Use of multi-scale observations to improve our understanding of atmosphere-ecosystem exchange. - Development of ecosystem models to include human management and their impacts on ecosystem biogeochemical and biogeophysical processes. - Detectability of ecosystem processes by regional scale observations (e.g. tall towers and aircraft).
