David Yang

David Yang is a Silicon Valley-based serial entrepreneur, founder and Chairman of the Board at ABBYY, co-founder of Yva.ai, and a member of the Band of Angels. He started his first company, ABBYY, in 1989 when he was a 4th-year student at MIPT. Today ABBYY has over 1,000 employees and is a leading developer of Artificial Intelligence, Content Intelligence, Optical Character Recognition, and Text Analytics software with offices in 11 countries. Currently, Dr. Yang is dedicated to Yva.ai by Findo, an ABBYY spin-off he co-founded in 2016. The company is developing AI-powered real-time employee analytics and performance management system helping organizations save millions of dollars by predicting employee resignations, detecting interpersonal conflicts, and more.
