Dan Ioan Tufis
Dan Ioan Tufis is a professor at the Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence; Natural Language; Processing; Machine Translation; Language Technologies; Machine Learning; Natural Language Understanding and Generation; Knowledge Representation; Semantic Web.
Since 2002 Dan is Director of the Romanian Academy Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and since 2011 he is Full Member of the Romanian Academy. In 2003 – 2009 Dan was a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University Al. I. Cuza of Iasi, Romania. In 2010 he was a professor at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
