Hagit Alon

As Chief Scientist at Joy Ventures, Hagit is responsible for helping portfolio companies connect to their scientific side and collect evidence to prove the efficacy of the end product. She also oversees Joy Venture’s academic programs. Prior to Joy Ventures, Hagit worked as a Scientific Officer in an ALS non-profit organization. There, she started and led to implementation a digital health initiative aimed at creating objective measurement of disease progression. Hagit holds a PhD in computational biology, from the Sackler Medical School in Tel Aviv University. She also completed two Masters degrees, from the Weizmann Institute of Science (Molecular Genetics) and NYU (Computer Science).
