Leonard A. Lauder is Chairman Emeritus of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. He is currently the senior member of its Board of Directors. Founded in 1946, the Company is one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance, and hair care products, with annual sales of $10.97 billion. The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) is the only public charity solely dedicated to finding effective drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. Their biomedical venture philanthropy approach allows investing in the most promising drug discovery and development programs around the world in both academic institutions and biopharmaceutical companies. Since the company's founding in 1998, the ADDF has invested nearly $100 million to support over 500 programs across 18 countries.
