Leah Krubitzer

Leah Krubitzer is a neuroscientist and professor at University of California at Davis, where she also heads up the Laboratory of Evolutionary Neurobiology. Her academic interests revolve mainly around the ways in which complex brains in humans and mammals evolve from simpler forms, and much of her research focuses on anatomical connections and electrophysiological characteristics of neurons in the neocortex.
