Dean Vaughan is vice president of sales for Asia Pacific and Japan and is responsible for enterprise and service provider sales, including go-to-market and channel strategies to drive partner engagement and customer acquisition across the region, liberating enterprises as they shift their applications and workloads to the cloud.
Prior to Silver Peak, Vaughan served in various enterprise technology sales leadership positions at Oracle, most recently as senior director of Cloud Platform Solutions for ASEAN where, in a short period of time, he significantly expanded the public cloud IaaS and PaaS businesses. Vaughan began his career at Oracle in 2009 where he established and scaled the Oracle Virtualization and Linux business units in Australia and New Zealand. By 2012, Vaughan was promoted to oversee the Cloud Infrastructure business unit for Asia Pacific and Japan. During this time, Vaughan delivered consistent double-digit annual growth by expanding the business to India, Korea and Japan and restructuring the business in China, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Vaughan built NCR Corporation’s Cisco Systems Network Integration business across Asia Pacific.
