It is run by UCL and has received ethical approval to make tissue available for research projects aimed at improving our understanding of disease and treatment of disease.
The Living Airway Biobank has made a renewal of his existing tissue bank for research with COVID-19. Selection criteria for inclusion of samples in the bank: airway tissue from the upper and lower respiratory tract will be stored from patients with nasal and respiratory problems/disease and from healthy volunteers.
