In the search for new marketing tricks, the major furniture and kitchen houses repeatedly resort to a tried and tested means: discounts. As a result, many customers naturally believe that they have done a great deal just with this dealer. Often, the special discounts come in connection with time pressure- "If you sign tomorrow, I can pack another 5% on top ...". The whole thing is because there are no classic EIAs in the kitchen area. There are so-called list prices, which can then be manipulated from kitchen house to kitchen house according to preference. A retailer can easily double the floor plan for a kitchen and then offer customers 70% off and still earns 30% more than the kitchen would actually have been worth.
