Artificial Intelligence Technology Center, also known by CAIT was proposed in 2005 as the development of research in the field of artificial intelligence that is so active in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM) as well as additional expertise in this area in FTSM. The proposed for establishment CAIT center as a center of excellence in research were decided on June 24, 2005 in Academic Enhancement Workshops Department of Science and Management System, 2004 in Putrajaya.
