B3LAB ^{AI Hub}

In the light of the developments in the world in the field of Cloud Computing and in line with the needs Turkey country, in 2013, the “Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Laboratory” (B3LAB) project conducted under the leadership of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Information Technologies Institute and with the support of the Investment Program of the Republic of Turkey (B3LAB) project will establish infrastructure for Cloud Computing and Big Data. Bulut Informatics and Big Data technologies are centralizing the increasingly widespread online services, providing labor and cost efficiency, and overcoming the amount of data generated from multiple sources and reaching huge dimensions. Within the scope of this laboratory, it is aimed to carry out advanced researches in the field of Cloud Computing and Big Data, to pioneer the development of required products with domestic resources, and to provide research and consultancy opportunities for the stakeholders to work in this field. For public needs; It is planned to form a model for the transition to the Public Cloud and to conduct corporate big data analyzes with the knowledge gained, the infrastructures established and the consultancy services provided to public institutions. In addition, it is aimed to create national solutions in critical areas such as Privacy and Security, to increase trained manpower, to increase academic publications, and to expand the ecosystem and potential markets.
