The Rehab Med AG is a family owned and run by the second generation. The company was founded in 1974 , operated in the first few years as a sole proprietorship, then as a “cooperative for aids for the integration and care of the handicapped, the sick and the elderly” and from 1988 as a stock corporation in its current form. In 1999 the constantly growing "technical department" was outsourced from the parent company for practical reasons and became an independent company, "Reha mobil GmbH".
