Mark Bivens is a venture partner at Truffle Venture Capital and shuttles between Paris and Tokyo. He currently serves as board member at CoolGames, Kang, QuantCube Technology, Makazi, NetMediaEurope, and the AfricaTri Foundation.Past exits include: Birdview (acq. by Constellation Software), CCI Publishers, Capsule (acq. by JMI Equity), Cerent (acq. by Cisco), Cybernetix (acq. by Technip), Domain Appraisers, ITMasters (acq. by BMC Software), Keyyo (IPO), Momac (acq. by Sandvine), Peer Digital (acq. by V-Span), PeopleCube (acq. by Asure Software), and Vision/IQ (acq. by MG International).Prior to becoming a VC, Bivens founded 3 tech companies including one successful exit. He is the author of "Japan: Bitcoin #1," a book on Japan's leadership in cryptocurrency. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
