Defense Information Systems Agency is an information technology combat support agency that connects enterprises, forces, users, and partners with one another. It provides real-time IT and communications support to the President, Vice President, Secretary of Defense, military services, and combatant commands. The agency provides, operates, and assures command and control, information sharing capabilities, and a globally-accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the spectrum of military operations. Defense Information Systems Agency was founded on May 12, 1960 and is based in the United States.
