Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España, S.A., (Engineering Systems for the Defence of Spain) – Isdefe is part of the National Public Sector and specialises in providing solutions to the main national and international challenges facing the government through its engineering, consulting and technical assistance services and turnkey projects. Isdefe is the in-house technical services provider for the General State Administration (AGE) and for those agencies, entities and organisations reporting to it. The company is a part of Spain's Ministry of Defence, its president being the Secretary of State for Defence. The main areas in which it carries out its activity are Defence and Security, Aerospace, Transport, Government Agencies, Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and Energy. It also operates and maintains NASA, ESA and INTA space facilities in Spain.
