Since 2017, thousands of public servants, technologists, and civic innovators from around the world gather at FWD50 to answer one vital question: How do we use technology to make society better for all? FWD50 is more than an event. It's a conversation between public and private sector about what we can be when we steer progress towards our better selves. It's a four-day conversation on digital transformation, bringing together citizens, the public service, elected officials, technologists, and innovative thinkers from around the world. Because it's time for some forward thinking. Traditionally, the conference is held in Ottawa, Canada. Due to the recent pandemic, FWD50 is held exclusively virtual and will likely become a hybrid event.
