The Barn Owl Trust ^NGOs

The Barn Owl Trust is a small grass roots charity working tirelessly to protect and conserve Barn Owls and their environment throughout the UK. We carry out practical conservation, research and educational work; treat and rehabilitate injured owls; operate a sanctuary for owls that cannot be released into the wild; and run a free information service for individuals, farmers, landowners and the government. Our aim is to increase Barn Owl survival rates and nesting success across the UK - as one of Britain’s top predators, without these iconic birds, there will be a ‘trophic cascade’, which could cause food web and ecosystem disruptions, and in turn, have a tragic impact on our traditional British countryside as we know it.
