Listening Ears ^NGOs

Listening Ears has been actively working within the Royal Borough of Greenwich since 2006, delivering projects and activities in the following areas of our passion. • Reducing the alarming level of isolation and loneliness among the elderly, building their social skills and offering them companionship through our projects “Feel Good Fridays” and “Community Angels” • Supporting, empowering and nurturing young girls up to age 19 in their journey to womanhood. We provide a non-judgemental space for them to build their confidence, participate in different life skills development workshops and enhance their resilience to face the challenging transition to adolescence. Our project – Rosebud Centre also supports the mothers of our girls to foster improved family relationships • Another area of our passion is enlightening and empowering local community members to take small steps of change in their eating, cooking and lifestyle habits to achieve tremendous improvement in the health and overall wellbeing. This project is named “Steps2Living” • Our slogan is to share the burden and achieve positive solutions and we do this through our project “Let’s Share It” supporting clients to explore options they might not even think about, to achieve wholesome relationships.
