Home-Start (UK) ^NGOs

Home-Start volunteers offer support, friendship and practical help to families with young children who for many reasons, are finding it hard to cope. By visiting them regularly in their own home, the volunteer helps the family to cope with the pressures they are facing, reducing the potential for family crisis or breakdown.
