Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope NGOs
Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope (ELoH) provides essential life changing support for children who have lost their limbs due to war, accident or lack of basic medical care. ELoH works not only with children who have lost limbs but to also their families along with medical staff. When a child loses a limb, that child’s medical needs will be continuous into adulthood. ELoH is there to help them though every high and low moment they may experience, by providing a range of specially tailored services. These services may include: - Providing access to basic mobility such as crutches, wheelchairs or prosthetics. - Access to education by supporting and integrating amputees into schools. - Family Business scheme, giving amputee families the help and support they need in becoming more self-sufficient, enabling their child to remain in school. - Access to counselling to groups, individuals and families. - Educating to help to fight against the stigma of amputee children within communities.
