Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes are: 1.1 The advancement of racial harmony in Scotland and elsewhere and in furtherance of this; 1.2 to promote better understanding between different religions and cultures in Scotland, Nationally and Internationally; 1.3 to encourage social contact amongst different diverse communities by organising social, religious, cultural and educational activities; 1.4 to provide a main channel through which culturally diverse communities can raise their issues; 1.5 to actively engage culturally diverse hard to reach groups, 1.6 to promote and raise awareness on Environmental issues and sustainable benefits;
